Replace Your Autogate Wheels Before It’s Too Late
If you notice that your sliding auto gate is moving slowly, not functioning smoothly, and is even difficult to push and pull by hand, you need to check the sliding autogate wheels. One reason a sliding autogate may be hard to move is due to the auto gate roller being worn out, where the bearings inside has broken. If you need sliding autogate roller repair services, feel free to contact Sam Autogate at 012 – 405 8791. We will inspect it for you to identify the root cause of the issue with the sliding auto gate. If it is confirmed that the problem is with the wheels, we will replace the sliding autogate wheels for you. Replacing sliding auto gate rollers requires expertise, experience, tools and the manpower. Doing it correctly is important because, if done improperly, the gate could fall and cause accidents. So, it’s best to hire an autogate specialist who knows how to replace sliding auto gate rollers properly.
Fixing the Sliding Auto Gate Wheel for Our Customer
One of our clients, a factory in Desa Tun Razak, Cheras, uses the G-force SL2000 Sliding Auto Gate System that we installed four years ago. They experienced issues with the autogate moving slowly and struggling to open and close, causing the customer to worry that the G-force sliding autogate motor might be damaged. From what the customer described, it seemed like the autogate motor could be at fault, but the real issue is with the sliding auto gate’s bottom wheels.
To double confirm, we conducted an inspection and confirmed that the sliding auto gate rollers were indeed worn out, jammed, and rusted, with many of the bearings broken. There are four sliding autogate wheels in total, two in the front and two in the back, and we replaced all of them. After completing the sliding auto gate roller replacement, we tested the gate by manually pushing it, and it moved smoothly. We also advised the customer to periodically spray WD-40 on the gate wheels to extend the lifespan of their autogate rollers. Since the G-force sliding autogate we installed is still functioning well overall, only the wheels required replacement, which we have successfully resolved for the customer.
