Frequent Autogate Breakdowns? We Can Fix It!
For the Dnor 712 and Dnor 212 autogate models, frequent breakdowns even when they’re still relatively new. Why? Because autogate guys play dirty tricks. But how? Because autogate installers don’t have much business, so they replace the new internal gears and autogate mini DC motor with recycled autogate components. But, the autogate arm’s housing is new, so you won’t notice it. And then, they use the new autogate components for repairs for other customers. Many people don’t notice these tricks until later on. There have been many incidents where customers are unable to reach their autogate installers and have no choice but to bring their autogate arm to our office, where we open it up and find out what’s really going on. Customers claim their autogate arms were replaced only a few months ago, but the internal components are heavily rusted, and the warranty was stated 4 to 7 years back. As I remember, one customer called the autogate installer on the spot to question him, and ended up being threatened by him. But that’s none of our business. If you want a cheap price, you have to accept the risks and consequences. We don’t want to get involved. Our job is simply to fix the autogate arm.
Autogate Folding Arm or Swing Arm Market Prices
If you don’t believe it, you can call a few autogate installers and compare their prices. The market standard price is RM 1,600 to RM 1,900, but you may find someone offering it at RM 1,300 to RM 1,400. Can you believe that they’re offering a price even lower than our dealer price? We buy in large quantities, like 200 to 300 sets, yet our cost price is still higher than their selling price. These autogate installers don’t have much savings or cash on hand. Most of them can’t even make ends meet. Don’t tell me they’re buying 1,000 sets to get a lower price than us—ahaha! So, you know, I know what’s going on…
They don’t even replace the components inside the autogate arm, yet they don’t provide a backup battery for the customer. On top of that, they give low-quality auto gate remote control set, auto gate control panel, and auto gate transformer. As the saying goes, ‘If you pay peanuts, you get monkeys.’ Choosing cheaper autogates may result in lower quality and more frequent break down.
